Why do you stress eating Carbohydrates? You need carbs to burn fat! Complex Carbs, eaten in moderation, help with fat loss and long term weight loss goals. Whole grains and high-carb superfoods such as sweet potatoes provide essential vitamins, minerals and beneficial fiber.

Do you use GMO’s? – No, we are an Organic Meal Service.   All oils, spices, vegetables and proteins are free of GMO’s.  Our beef is grass fed and free from hormones and antibiotics, too.


Why does the plan only cover 6 days a week? – The 7th day is your chance to practice what you’re learning.  You have family and friends to catch up with and that usually takes place over a meal at a restaurant or someone’s home.  Go.  Enjoy.  Just don’t go overboard and sabotage your entire week’s gain in one meal.  Nutrition takes practice. In no time you will be a Pro!

What if I don’t like one of your dishes? –What?!  Just kidding. If you don’t like something we’ve prepared for you, please let us know. We will make sure you never get it again!  This is your plan and we want you to enjoy it.  On the flip side, if you love a meal please let us know.

Why don’t you serve dessert like other plans I see on the web?- That’s like a Unicorn.  We hear about it but we’ve never actually seen one.  For us, nutrition is a life long adventure.  Nothing is off limits but things should be in limited quantities.  Like dessert.  If you want dessert, go to a restaurant and eat it as a special treat.  We live in a city full of fabulous pastry chefs and frozen yogurt joints.  It’s part of our “keep it reasonable” philosophy- enjoy it occasionally, but it’s not a part of everyday life.

Are you open over the holidays? – CFD is closed the week of Thanksgiving and the last two weeks of December. We re-open January 3rd. That’s it.  Unless an act of nature occurs that is beyond our control we will be open for business.

Why is the pricing different for Men and Women? –  Our pricing is based on the size of the meals. We know that everyone has different needs when hiring us to deliver healthy meals. A 140 pound woman that exercises three times a week, for example needs fewer calories than a 220 pound man who is doing intense bodybuilding training. We customize meals for each individual.

How soon can I start? – Once you’ve placed your order and we’ve nailed down any extra details needed, you should receive your first delivery within forty-eight hours.  Keep in mind that our delivery days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

What should I expect? – We deliver early Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.  If we are delivering to your office expect us to arrive mid to late morning.  Two days worth of meals come packed in a carry all, insulated cooler with an ice pack.  Our portion controlled lunches are delivered all at one time either Monday, Wednesday or Friday.  We send emails out the night before delivery as a friendly reminder to leave out your cooler for pick up and with your next days menu of meals.

How do I pay for this? – Payment is due at the time of your order for the following week. We accept cash, check, or credit card (Amex, Visa, Mastercard and Discover).
